Community Partnerships

Our Community & Community partners

Community is at the heart of Fixation and we always look forward to local community festivals and events that our members can be involved in; whether that is performing, holding free workshops, presenting or fundraising.

Every year we raise money for local charities that are close to our members hearts. Through various ways we raise money to help these fantastic causes such as sponsorship fundraisers; fancy dress, cupcake competitions, big silences to street performances, bucket collecting and ticket sales.

We also fundraise for our performances and opportunities for our young people to partake in events, also for new resources and free places for children and young people who have financial difficulties.

We want everyone to enjoy the buzz of Fixation Theatre Company and are now in the process of developing a bursary for children and young people.

We would like to say a BIG thank you to all our members, families and friends for all your support within these fundraisers.

We are always looking for new opportunities for our members and also sponsorships from local businesses.

These groups meet once a week and work towards a performance within a local theatre each year.

The groups are user led and members are encouraged to take the lead in all areas, including storyline & character ideas, movement and music selection for the shows.

We have extensive experience of working with a variety of disabilities with both adults and children.

We believe that it is important to meet the individuals and well as the groups needs.

We work on finding peoples strengths and skills and enhancing that through our work.
